Intake System Flexible Joints

As part of our overall intake system design, SPL Control engineers size and specify expansion / flexible joints to meet the requirements for each location. Flow velocity, environmental conditions, thermal changes and acoustic performance are all evaluated as part of our design processes. Durable, industrial materials are selected for high performance and longevity for increased service life. Flow liners are designed to reduce turbulence and pressure drop, as well as to eliminate the possibility of insulation erosion and ingestion into the turbine.
