ISO 9001:2015 is completed

SPL Control Inc. has successfully completed our program update to ISO 9001:2015.

After completing a GAP analysis in conformance with ISO 9001:2015 and OSO/IEC Directives, we have completed updates and modifications to our ISO 9001:2015 QMS.

We were successfully on target to have the new system in place in time for our 2018 audit.

2017 Summary

2017 was another banner year for SPL Control, with a steady stream of orders.

New major projects for Union Gas and TransCanada were completed, on time, and on budget.

Many of the projects we built in the 1970’s and 1980’s, especially the hot end components, are reaching the end of their service life.

The SPL Control database of legacy files has provided our customers with a confident path forward to refurbishment as we can replace worn out parts to the exact dimensions and specifications as the original units.

In addition, our transition to the new ISO 9001:2015 standard went live internally, with our audit booked for the early spring of 2018.

2016 Summary

As 2016 transitions into 2017, SPL Control has enjoyed a banner year, with a healthy delivery of orders, both domestically and internationally.

New major projects for Union Gas were completed, on time, and on budget. Natural gas customers in Ontario will begin to enjoy extended service and reliability in early 2017.

Many of the projects we built in the 1970’s and 1980’s, especially the hot end components, are reaching the end of their service life.

Coupled with the fact SPL Control has maintained a database of all of our legacy files, we can replace worn out parts to the exact dimensions and specifications as the original units.

Our long time customers can rest assured their fleet will continue to perform as designed, with a minimum of downtime.

2015 Summary

2015 was, and continues to be, a challenge for many of our customers and competitors.

However, SPL Control succeeded in bucking the trend and with the help of a competitive Canadian dollar, enjoyed a profitable year end finish.

2014 Summary

2014 looked to be another successful year for SPL Control Inc., and delivered as promised.

Major booked projects include systems for several natural gas supply stations on Southern Ontario, feeding an ever expanding economy.

As has been the trend for the past several years, the after-market and retrofit market, continues to grow.

Our experience over a wide range of platforms, including Rolls-Royce, GE and Solar turbines, continues to result in orders for new and replacement systems.

New customers in Alberta are providing SPL Control with a widening customer base.

2013 Summary

Like the previous year, 2013 was a busy and successful year for SPL Control Inc.

Major projects included systems for a number of power gen projects in Alberta.

As has been the trend for the past several years, the after-market and retrofit market, continues to grow.

Our experience over a wide range of platforms, including Rolls-Royce, GE and Solar turbines, resulted in orders for replacement systems.

2012 Summary

2012 was a very busy and successful year for SPL Control Inc.

Major projects included Exhaust Systems for a new class of micro gas turbines, generating electricity from flare gas.

Both Intake and Exhaust systems were designed and built for markets ranging from North America to the EU.

Further work in Malaysia has SPL Control developing new technologies for off-shore installations.

2011 Summary

2011 was an active year for SPL Control Inc.

Major projects included:

Phase 11 of the GAIL India pipeline for Rolls-Royce Energy.

A Polypropylene processing plant for Petrologistics in Houston.

Exhaust systems for North West Gas.

Intake systems for Union Gas in Ontario, Canada.
